- ➤ Big Dreams Through Small Steps partnered with Goodwill Manasota to expand its Bridge Abilities program — a program that will refurbish and distribute wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment to local residents with disabilities and chronic conditions facing financial challenges. - ➤ New College of Florida has partnered with Florida State University to expand its study-abroad program; students can now study at FSU’s four international centers and other global locations with in-state tuition and seamless credit transfers. So far, 43 students have studied in more than 25 countries and the partnership offers more global experience — the first student body president was elected at the Florence center — as opportunities broaden.
