Sarasota Herald-Tribune
ENVIRONMENT NEWS

- ➤ Sarasota will spend $1.7 million from park impact fees to improve Bobby Jones Golf Club’s nature park — adding trails, signage, a micro forest, a boardwalk, overlooks, and pedestrian connections. The project follows the 2022 conversion of nearly 100 acres of the golf course into a park — a move designed to benefit local wildlife and residents. Sarasota Herald-Tribune
- ➤ Rex Jensen—CEO of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch—met with about 100 Lakewood Ranch residents at Town Hall to gather input on a planned roundabout at the intersection of Legacy Boulevard, Deer Drive and University Parkway as many locals oppose it.
