- ➤ On March 28, 600 children enjoyed Eggstravaganza in Waterside by collecting 10,000 candy eggs (organized by Lakewood Ranch Community Activities and Grace Community Church) as families joined in face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny (a local favorite). Observer

- ➤ Willie Taggart and the Taggart Family Foundation held the 941 Youth Legends Football Combine for local youth at Lincoln Park on Saturday, Mar. 28. Former NFL players Marlon Mack, LaJohntay Wester and Forrest Lamp joined the event to share their expertise. Sarasota Herald-Tribune
