- ➤ Sarasota Memorial Hospital is testing a new device called aXess to help dialysis patients by reducing complications for those with end-stage kidney disease. Vascular surgeon Dr. Jason Wagner leads the study, which will enroll up to 140 patients 18 or older who need dialysis within the next six months — interested individuals should call the research team at 941-917-2225.
