The Mall at University Town Center is expanding its shopping lineup this summer as James Avery Artisan Jewelry and JD Sports will open while OGs Unlaced, American Eagle and Aerie have reopened after updates — the center also welcomes Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier as its first local outlet.

Florida Studio Theatre is building 57 apartment units for visiting artists and local arts workers as part of its $46 million McGillicuddy Arts Plaza downtown (39 units are studios and 18 are two-bedroom apartments with below-market rents), with Phase One expected to complete by Fall 2027.

Booker High School is searching for a new head football coach after parting ways with Carlos Woods, who served as both coach and athletic director last season.
