A Maryland Girl Scout donated $77.04 with a handwritten note to the Community Foundation after raising funds by selling lemonade and hot chocolate from last fall until April.

The donation helps boost hurricane relief funds as another Atlantic hurricane season approaches—showing that everyone can give back.

Residents off Bell Avenue said overgrown ditches nearly flooded their homes last hurricane season—calls for help were not answered.
