- ➤ Three Arcadia residents were scared on Friday when Reginald Hundson—a convicted felon barred from having guns—opened fire, and police quickly secured the scene and charged him with three counts of attempted murder. ABC 7
- ➤ A Sarasota college student was detained by ICE in Texas after being arrested for driving without a license on May 21, and her family—a group that described her as hardworking—pleaded for her return as her attorney will ask for bond at a hearing next week while a protest is planned for June 14. - ➤ Venice celebrated the opening of a new museum for the 99-year-old fire engine Old Betsy — a cherished part of city history that served from 1926 to 1947.
