- ➤ Christ Church of Longboat Key gave a $40,000 grant on May 18 to Elks Feeding Empty Little Tummies so they can build a new meal-packing facility — a project estimated at about $54,000 — once county permit approval is secured. - ➤ The Squeaky Wheel Fringe festival is now underway from June 3-10 at the Jane B. Cook Theatre, featuring a range of uncensored performances in drama, dance, and comedy.
