- ➤ Florida lawmakers passed a bill to tighten restrictions on dangerous dogs after a fatal 2022 attack that killed postal worker Pamela Jane Rock—owners must now carry $100,000 in liability insurance, microchip and confine their pets, and face fines for removing microchips intentionally.
