- ➤ The Senior Friendship Center holds open houses in Sarasota and Arcadia today from noon-3 p.m. and in Venice on April 23 from 9 a.m.-noon to raise $100,000 in 24 hours through its Friendship Challenge - the fundraiser offers triple-match gifts for donations of $25-$500 from the Flanzer Philanthropic Trust.
