  • LECOM Suncoast Classic returned over $1M for local charities & student scholarships as officials reported about $700K went to LECOM’s Student Scholarship Fund, with the tournament’s eighth edition set to be held April 2-5 at Lakewood National Golf Club.  Observer
  • The Sarasota Farmers Market saw its largest turnout since before COVID on Saturday, March 21, drawing local residents to support fresh produce & small businesses.   • Preston Rowland and Lola Prody, high school students from Sarasota County, earned STRIVE Awards after overcoming personal challenges.
