- ➤ On Saturday, March 14, the Historical Society and Gillespie Park Neighborhood Association will lead a tour of six gardens in Gillespie Park featuring Craftsman, Mediterranean, farmhouse and mid-century modern homes. - ➤ Hurricane Melissa tied a record with 190 mph winds and mostly spared local areas; a relief plane crash in Coral Springs caused two indirect deaths. The storm ended the 2025 season on a record note+ officials are reviewing recovery efforts. Sarasota Herald-Tribune
